Factory Tours

We are incredibly proud of what we do at our factory and want to show it off to as many people as possible. On a factory tour you may get the opportunity to talk to our skilled workers; our working environment is unusual in that we have resisted the trend to replace people with machines because we wish to preserve these traditional skills and pass them on for future generations.

Come and meet the cast that casts, and the jolly jollier, or find out what a fettler actually is. Our site is a fascinating and historic place: if you’ve never been inside a factory, then you are in for a treat. From the throwing of the clay to the final firing and decorating, come and see just how Hand Made in England we really are. The tour is educational and inspirational. Our customers who have visited the factory have all really enjoyed meeting the skilled people who create the pottery they love to use every day and which make their kitchens so pretty.

Tours are held each week and we run even more in the school holidays, as a trip to our factory makes a fun educational day out for children. We are also very happy to organise separate tours for groups or school visits.

Join us Monday to Thursday, 9am to 2pm and Friday, 9am to 1pm. Tours cost £2.50 which is redeemable against any purchases made in the factory shop on the day. We just ask that you book your place on 01782 201328.
