Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Final Selector/Inspector to check for faults on hand decorated sponge ware and lithographed products.

The ideal candidate must have previous pottery selecting experience and be able to work to strict production and quality targets.

Rates of pay dependant on efficiencies achieved.

The hours of work will be 39 hours per week.

IT Support Assistant

We are looking to recruit an IT Support Assistant to work closely with our IT Manager, to ensure our day to day IT service and systems contribute effectively to the business.

You will be required to troubleshoot hardware and software issues to over 100 users on a day to day basis, allowing the IT Manager to work on strategic, companywide IT issues.

You must be proficient in MS Office including Office 365, Windows XP in a domain environment, have knowledge of computer networks and Directories, and be able to ask questions of users to successfully diagnose IT problems and support. Communication skills are therefore essential for this role.

Knowledge of ERP systems and Apple MAC computers is also desirable.

This role would suit a candidate looking for their first or second IT position in their IT career and as a consequence additional training would be supported.

It is predominantly based in our Stoke Office, but you may be required to travel on occasion to any of our trading sites - presently in Bampton, Oxfordshire and London (office and 2 shops), with overnight stays when appropriate.

As part of our commitment to retaining skills and developing careers in the Ceramics Industry, we are happy to consider applications for Apprenticeships. These could be for roles in our Office, Shops, Design Studios, Warehouse or in Ceramics Manufacture. As well as receiving on the job training working closely with an experienced Mentor, we would support the achievement of a relevant and recognised qualification.

Work Experience

We are committed to developing links with schools, colleges and universities, and we are happy to accept invitations from students looking to undertake unpaid work experience placements. These placements may involve time spent in our Offices, Shops, Warehouse or Factory, normally over a 3 day period.
