Chelsea Flower Show and Horatio's Garden Mugs

Chelsea Flower Show opens this week and we've designed a special mug for the RHS to mark the occasion. The exclusive mug is available to buy from the RHS website (here) and from the show when it opens this week, while stocks last.

We have also designed a mug for Horatio's Garden, a charity that creates and lovingly cares for beautiful accessible gardens in NHS spinal injury centres.

Horatio’s Garden is named after Horatio Chapple, who was a volunteer at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre, Salisbury in his school holidays. Horatio and his father David Chapple – a spinal surgeon at Salisbury Hospital – came up with the idea for a garden and Horatio drew up a questionnaire to find out what the patients wanted.

Tragically Horatio was killed at the age of 17 by a polar bear. There followed an outpouring of love and goodwill and donations flooded in for his garden to be created.

Cleve West designed the first Horatio’s Garden and it opened in Salisbury in September 2012. We have been working with the organisation since that time.

You can buy the mug here, and do visit the Horatio’s Garden stand at the Chelsea Flower Show, Eastern Avenue, stand EA426.
