It was 25 years ago that Emma got her first big order for £600 worth of spongeware. The company, and its turnover, has grown considerably since that first order but the principles on which Emma founded her company remain the same. Emma was, and still is, committed to manufacturing every piece of her pottery in Staffordshire, the heart of the UK pottery industry and is the only large manufacturer making all of its pottery in England. The company employs over 100 people in Stoke-on-Trent and remains a family business producing beautiful products.
