Bicester Retail Village

Emma Bridgewater is very excited to be returning to Bicester Village with a Pop Up Shop for Christmas 2014!

We are therefore looking to recruit the following:

2 x Supervisors to work 34 hours p/w each (over 7 days)

3 x Part time Retail Assistants to work between 11-21 hours per week each (over 7 days)

We are seeking retail focussed individuals to delight our customers, develop our Brand and who will work as a team to achieve daily sales targets. Previous experience of working at Bicester Village would be an advantage.
We anticipate the Pop Up Shop will be open 20th Oct 2014 and close mid-Jan 2015
You must enjoy working in a small team, be prepared to use your own initiative and be flexible.

Retail Assistants

Fulham Shop, London

We are looking to recruit a 2 x Retail Assistants for our Fulham Shop to assist during our Christmas Peak trading period.

1 x Part time role 3 days p/w (Mon/Thurs/Fri shift)

1 x Part time role 2 days p/w (Mon & Thurs or Mon & Fri shift)

The candidates will ideally have previous experience of working in a retail environment and awareness of the Emma Bridgewater brand and product.
Strong customer service and sales skills are desirable for these roles.
You must enjoy working in a small team, be prepared to use your own initiative and be flexible.
Contract dates: late Sept 2014-mid Jan 2015

Apprenticeships & Work Experience

Apprenticeships

As part of our commitment to retaining skills and developing careers in the Ceramics Industry, we are happy to consider applications for Apprenticeships. These could be for roles in our Office, Shops, Design Studios, Warehouse or in Ceramics Manufacture. As well as receiving on the job training working closely with an experienced Mentor, we would support the achievement of a relevant and recognised qualification.

Work Experience

We are committed to developing links with schools, colleges and universities, and we are happy to accept invitations from students looking to undertake unpaid work experience placements. These placements may involve time spent in our Offices, Shops, Warehouse or Factory, normally over a 5 day period.

Production Manager

Our Factory, Stoke-on-Trent

We are looking to recruit a Production Manager for our Stoke Factory. This position will be responsible for the management of our Clay End Departments (inc. Sliphouse/Casting/Sponge Fettling) in terms of process, people, quality, daily planning & scheduling.

You will be expected to ensure that your departments achieve strict production figures, whilst seeking continuous quality and cost improvements.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager (and ultimately the Executive Head of Operations), this role would suit a Supervisor looking to develop their career.

Contractual Hours of work are 39 hours p/w Monday-Friday, although given this is a management role you will be expected to work additional hours if required for the completion of tasks.
