Apprenticeships

As part of our commitment to retaining skills and developing careers in the Ceramics Industry, we are happy to consider applications for Apprenticeships. These could be for roles in our Office, Shops, Design Studios, Warehouse or in Ceramics Manufacture. As well as receiving on the job training working closely with an experienced Mentor, we would support the achievement of a relevant and recognised qualification.

Work Experience

We are committed to developing links with schools, colleges and universities, and we are happy to accept invitations from students looking to undertake unpaid work experience placements. These placements may involve time spent in our Offices, Shops, Warehouse or Factory, normally over a 5 day period.

eCommerce Admin Assistant

Putney office, London

We are looking to recruit an eCommerce Admin Assistant to work in our London office.

We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate or someone with 1-2 years eCommerce experience to join our web team as an admin assistant.

The role is responsible for updating all product information on site including product imagery, copy and prices, reporting on key metrics, being responsible for social media channels and running competitions in partnership with suitable organisations. The candidate will need to have strong attention to detail as well as excellent organisational and communication skills.

Customer Service Assistant

Our Factory, Stoke-on-Trent

We are looking to recruit a Customer Services Assistant to work in our Hanley office.

You will be multi skilled and the first point of contact for our Home Shopping and Wholesale customers dealing with any enquiries, placing their orders, chasing deliveries and dealing with returns.

You must be polite and professional, and be able to deal calmly with customer enquiries and complaints. You will need to be computer literate and familiar with Excel.

The hours of work will be 39 hours over 6 days [between 08.00-20.00] with occasional requirement to work additional hours during our busy periods.

Production Manager

Our Factory, Stoke-on-Trent

We are looking to recruit a Production Manager for our Stoke Factory. This position will be responsible for the management of our Clay End Departments (inc. Sliphouse/Casting/Sponge Fettling) in terms of process, people, quality, daily planning & scheduling.

You will be expected to ensure that your departments achieve strict production figures, whilst seeking continuous quality and cost improvements.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager (and ultimately the Executive Head of Operations), this role would suit a Supervisor looking to develop their career.

Contractual Hours of work are 39 hours p/w Monday-Friday, although given this is a management role you will be expected to work additional hours if required for the completion of tasks.
