We are looking for a Tour Guide to join our Visit England recognised Retail and Visitor Attraction team.

The successful candidate must be able to offer an informative and engaging tour of our Victorian Pottery factory and encourage increased sales in our onsite Shop.

You will be required to work 5 days per week. Our Tours currently run 3 times per day, Mon-Thurs and twice on a Friday.

In addition, you will be required to confidently liaise (via email or telephone) with groups wishing to book and undertake tours with us.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

Temporary Retail Opportunities

Bicester Village, Oxfordshire

We are very excited to be returning to Bicester Retail Village with a Pop Up Shop for the Christmas 2016 and January 2017 Sale periods!

We are therefore looking to recruit the following:

  • 1 x Shop Manager to work 34 hours per week (over 7 days)
  • 2 x Supervisors to work 34 hours per week each (over 7 days)
  • 3 x Part time Retail Assistants to work 11-21 hours per week each (over 7 days)

We are seeking retail focused individuals to delight our customers and who will work as a team to achieve daily sales targets.

We anticipate the Pop Up Shop will be open from late October/early November 2016 and will close late January 2017.

Apprenticeships & Work Experience


As part of our commitment to retaining skills and developing careers in the Ceramics Industry, we are happy to consider applications for Apprenticeships. These could be for roles in our Office, Shops, Design Studios, Warehouse or in Ceramics Manufacture. As well as receiving on the job training working closely with an experienced Mentor, we would support the achievement of a relevant and recognised qualification.

Work Experience

We are committed to developing links with schools, colleges and universities, and we are happy to accept invitations from students looking to undertake unpaid work experience placements. These placements may involve time spent in our Offices, Shops, Warehouse or Factory, normally over a 3 day period.
