Permanent Contract [Part Time – 30 hrs p/w]
Pre-Production Studio, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent
We are looking for an Archivist to support the record keeping of all the pottery items which have a historical importance for Emma Bridgewater Ltd. You will ensure we have reliable memories and records of past and current pottery products.
This role will include photographing and recording our current Archive; Establishing an appropriate record keeping system for future users; Archive stock relocation; Archiving current product in line with seasonal launches.
You must be a proven methodical and organised person, with excellent communication skills. Computer proficiency is critical.
This role may suit someone looking for a flexible working week/school hours

Apprenticeships & Work Experience
As part of our commitment to retaining skills and developing careers in the Ceramics Industry, we are happy to consider applications for Apprenticeships. These could be for roles in our Office, Shops, Design Studios, Warehouse or in Ceramics Manufacture. As well as receiving on the job training working closely with an experienced Mentor, we would support the achievement of a relevant and recognised qualification.
We are committed to developing links with schools, colleges and universities, and we are happy to accept invitations from students looking to undertake unpaid work experience placements. These placements may involve time spent in our Offices, Shops, Warehouse or Factory, normally over a 3 day period.
