The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing sandwiches, breads, salads, biscuits and tray bakes, as well as a hot dish each day for our customers.

As the role will be based in our open kitchen, as well as skills in cooking, the candidate must be enthusiastic about meeting and talking to our customers.

Experience of working in a professional kitchen environment is required as well as an enthusiasm to help improve the food and service offer to our visitors. A catering skills certificate would however be an advantage.

Graduate Design Studio Assistant

Bampton, Oxford

We are looking to recruit a newly/recently qualified Design Graduate with a Surface Pattern degree or similar) to join our small team in Bampton, Oxford.

This role will report into the Head of Design and will assist in the development of seasonal design briefs originated by Emma and Matthew, and their feasibility for production and launch.

You will additionally need proven CAD experience and have the ability to work in a small team.

As the role will be based at Emma and Matthew’s home, you may occasionally be asked to assist with some personal/family matters.

Wholesale Specials Sales Coordinator

London Office, Putney Bridge

We are looking to recruit an experienced sales and marketing individual to help the business deliver an additional £500k of sales through the identification and securing of partnership opportunities with other brands, businesses, schools, museums and events (“Specials”).

You will also be required to produce an annual sales and marketing plan for these special product sales and report such sales against a predicted budget.

Your communication skills will be second to none as you must be able to develop relationships with external contacts as well as work closely with our Wholesale, Design and Marketing teams.

You must have at least 3 years' experience of working in a similar role.

Customer Service Assistant

Stoke-on-Trent Office, Hanley

We are looking to recruit a Customer Services Assistant to work in our Hanley office (Maternity Cover)

This role will support our Customer Services Manager (Home Shopping) to deliver effective and efficient customer relationships. You will be required to answer phone calls, respond to emails and process orders.

You must be polite and professional, and be able to deal calmly with customer enquiries and complaints. You will need to be computer literate and familiar with Excel.

The hours of work will be 39 hours over 6 days [between 08.00-20.00] with occasional requirement to work additional hours during our busy periods.

The role is due to commence by Sept 2015, in readiness for our peak Christmas trading period.

As part of our commitment to retaining skills and developing careers in the Ceramics Industry, we are happy to consider applications for Apprenticeships. These could be for roles in our Office, Shops, Design Studios, Warehouse or in Ceramics Manufacture. As well as receiving on the job training working closely with an experienced Mentor, we would support the achievement of a relevant and recognised qualification.

Work Experience

We are committed to developing links with schools, colleges and universities, and we are happy to accept invitations from students looking to undertake unpaid work experience placements. These placements may involve time spent in our Offices, Shops, Warehouse or Factory, normally over a 3 day period.
