International Nurses Day

Tuesday 12th May is International Nurses Day. This year we’re delighted to be partnering with Marie Curie, whose incredible nursing staff care and support terminally ill patients in their hour of need, on our very special charity mug.

Marie Curie CEO Matthew Reed says “We are so proud to be working with Emma Bridgewater and are very grateful for their ongoing support. On International Nurses Day we are reminded of the vital care our nurses provide to patients and their families and this care wouldn’t be possible without partners like Emma Bridgewater. This mug is a friendly reminder in kitchens across the country, that Marie Curie is here to support people when they need us, and the money raised will help make sure we can continue to be there during the coronavirus and beyond.”

£5 from the sale of each Marie Curie 1/2 Pint Mug will be donated to the charity, which offers care and support throughout terminal illness. You can buy yours here. (sorry this product is no longer available).

At this moment in time Marie Curie need your support more than ever…
While the pandemic has put everything on hold, from marathons and sports to holidays and weddings, terminal illness and end of life care can’t be put on hold.

By helping out this International Nurses Day you’ll be helping dying people and their families get vital care and support from Marie Curie Nurses and frontline staff when it’s needed more than ever.

This International Nurses Day for one day only we are also donating £5 from the sale of every Florence Nightingale mug to The Florence Nightingale Foundation, that provides scholarships to nurses and midwives.
