Behind The Design: Kitchen Garden
“When we sat down to plan this pattern it 2006, we thought we had hailed a new take of Portmeirion’s Botanic Garden. Well. That plot completely failed, as the pattern sold only mildly.
Then, instead of working at it, as know we always should, taking the elements that were slightly more successful and working on them to strengthen the design, we hastily withdrew the pattern and forget all about it. But the theme is a good one, surely? In fact, I know that it is.”

NEW Patterns
Our new Kitchen Garden collection includes three new patterns: Carrots & Beets, Peas & Beans and Colour Palette. These new collections are PERFECT for those have had their eyes on our Vegetable Garden collection but think spongeware is superior.
Sponge Secrets
All of our sponges are hand cut / soldered in our factory in Stoke-On-Trent by a small team of talented women. The sponges will last for a few weeks before they need to be replaced (after PLENTY of use!).
