H&S Manager


We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our senior management team based in Stoke-on-Trent. As Health and Safety Manager, you will ensure that Emma Bridgewater Ltd meets the necessary legislative obligations and drive the continuous improvement of health and safety and environmental issues throughout the business. You will facilitate the ongoing development of health and safety and environmental policies and practices to make sure all employees are adhering to these standards.

Production vacancies – Sponge Fettlers, Selector, Utility worker, Cleaner and Dipper


Emma Bridgewater Ltd is currently experiencing a period of growth and we are delighted to have a number of permanent production vacancies available.

We are currently looking to recruit several experienced Sponge Fettlers – experience of hand fettling and sponging cast and hollowware items. Experience is desirable for these vacancies.

There is also an opportunity for a Utility worker, responsible for transporting ware between departments and assisting with moving ware to work benches. A flexible approach is a must for this role.

A vacancy has arisen in our Glazing Department for a Hand Dipper to dip both Flat and Castware items. Experience is required for this position.

A further new role that has been generated as a result of the growth is in selection. We require an experienced glost selector to inspect our finished decorated product.

Finally, we have an opportunity for a cleaner working full-time hours in the Emma Bridgewater factory.

Apprenticeships & Work Experience

Stoke-on-Trent or Putney, London


As part of our commitment to retaining skills and developing careers in the Ceramics Industry, we are happy to consider applications for Apprenticeships. These could be for roles in our Office, Shops, Design Studios, Warehouse or in Ceramics Manufacture. As well as receiving on the job training working closely with an experienced Mentor, we would support the achievement of a relevant and recognised qualification.

Work Experience

We are committed to developing links with schools, colleges and universities, and we are happy to accept invitations from students looking to undertake unpaid work experience placements. These placements may involve time spent in our Offices, Shops, Warehouse or Factory, normally over a 3 day period.
