IT Support Technician


We are looking to recruit an IT Support Technician to work closely with our IT Manager, to ensure our day to day IT service and systems contribute effectively to the business.

You will be required to troubleshoot hardware and software issues to over 100 users on a day to day basis, allowing the IT Manager to work on strategic, companywide IT issues.

You must be proficient in MS Office including Office 365, Windows XP in a domain environment, have knowledge of computer networks and Directories, and be able to ask questions of users to successfully diagnose IT problems and support. Communication skills are therefore essential for this role.

Knowledge of ERP systems and Apple MAC computers is also desirable.

This role would suit a candidate looking for their first or second IT position in their IT career and as a consequence additional training would be supported.

 The role is predominantly based in our Stoke Office, but you may  be required to travel on occasion to any of our trading sites - presently in Bampton, Oxford and London (office and 2 shops), with overnight stays when appropriate.

Junior eCommerce Manager

Putney, London

Our website is an important sales channel for us and we are looking for a bright, motivated individual to join us as our Junior eCommerce Manager in our London office. Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, you will be involved with all aspects of the website and responsible for the on site content, website development, ensuring strong conversion on site as well as growing traffic through online marketing – PPC, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliates and google shopping. 

As a member of the eCommerce team, plan, implement and manage website developments and functional improvements to improve conversion rate.  Work with our agency to plan and review performance of PPC Campaigns, SEO Campaigns and Paid Social Campaigns and manage our google shopping feed. Support day-to-day trading of our 4 different currency sites: launching products, site merchandising, sale launches and promotions, managing daily and weekly eCommerce reporting.

Essential Skills & Experience

- To apply for this role you MUST have experience within e-commerce within a retail brand.

- Ideally at least 2 years Online Marketing (Paid Search and Paid Social) experience.

- Good analytical skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

- The ability to help manage complex development projects under tight schedules.

- Strong IT skills and quick to learn new systems.

The Front of House Café Supervisor will oversee the café team at our Stoke on Trent site, offering an outstanding customer experience while ensuring an efficient service is maintained in our fast paced café.

Liaising with the kitchen where necessary to improve quality of service.Thorough cleaning of open kitchen and café areas.Highlighting any maintenance issues.

Bampton, Oxfordshire

Our current gardener is leaving after 3 brilliant years living and gardening in Bampton and we are looking for a new gardener. Is it you?

This position will require you to live on the grounds, and you’ll live in a comfortable cabin with a nice veranda at the end of the kitchen garden with wood burning stove, electricity, water and mains drains.

The garden is big but with an intensively productive centre of kitchen garden, greenhouse and poly tunnel. There is orchard and wilder edges, chickens, ducks and quails. Otter and Coot are the Labradors, and Aslan the cat live on site.

In the summer we have volunteer help and full time we have Paul to do the mowing, heavy lifting and rotavating. We open for NGS and a few other events but otherwise the garden is for inspiration and pleasure and to feed the design studio team of 7 people with fresh veg and eggs.

The new gardener must have experience, proper horticultural knowledge and want to muck in.
