As with other Emma Bridgewater decorative serving bowls, this oak-leaf patterned bowl has been carefully sponged by hand at our factory in Stoke-on-Trent – not just on the outside but even on the rim inside too. The plate is completely dishwasher-safe: just like the mighty oak that an acorn can become, this acorn pattern will stay strong.

What is a Second?
All our pottery is carefully inspected before it leaves the factory. An item is classified as a 'Second' if there is a slight fault in the finish, decoration or the shape. These faults are not structural and each piece will still function as intended. Most faults are marked with a black line which will be visible when your item arrives but washes off with a damp cloth.
