Home to traditional handmade pottery making for almost one hundred and fifty years - and our home for the past thirty years - our Victorian Factory in Stoke-on-Trent is a special place to visit with a warm welcome waiting.

Factory Café

Serving a delicious, seasonal menu, excellent coffee and homemade cakes, the Factory Café – once a workshop in our historic pottery – is a lovely place to relax with friends and family over a leisurely lunch, a memorable Afternoon Tea, or indulge in tea and a treat in the colourful, Factory courtyard.

Expect the warmest of welcomes and enjoy our relaxing, creative setting. Booking not required (except for Afternoon Tea book here).

We serve:

-   breakfast from 9.30am
-    hot and cold lunches
-    homemade soups and cakes
-    children’s lunchboxes
-    seasonal specials
-    speciality teas, artisan coffee, presses and fruit juices

Shopping at the Factory

Discover our latest pottery ranges - all made here by hand in the Factory – and beautiful handblown glass, patterned textiles, enamelware, tin and serve ware in our lovely Gift Shop. And explore the treasure trove Seconds Outlet too, stocking discontinued and end of line pottery as well as the occasional surprising factory find!

Factory Garden

Hidden behind our Gift Shop you’ll find our small walled garden, home to espaliered fruit trees, masses of spring bulbs and colourful summer borders – an oasis in the heart of the industrial city and a haven for wildlife.

Open daily Spring, Summer and Autumn – weather dependent. Closed in winter.
