Pomegranate & Gold

Pomegranates have been celebrated since antiquity as the food of the gods so at Christmas, when abundance is very much the point, there are few things more fitting. 

The ones decorating our Festive Pomegranate plates look like handsome red and gold Christmas baubles. Surround them with crystal glassware and a richness of golden treasures that will glimmer and glint in candlelight: Gold Toast – bearing wise wording, and Gold Pear Tree – crowned with a wreath worthy of an emperor, then complete with a celestial scattering of Tiny Gold Stars. 

Let the table groan with grapes and figs, and let the wine flow freely. This is feasting made for the gods. And for us mere mortals too.
