The Ultimate Emma Bridgewater Experience

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes factory tour, try your hand at decorating your own unique piece of pottery and a relaxing lunch in our beautiful cafe.

Experience Days are available on weekdays only (advance booking required) and include:

  • 11.30 am – behind-the-scenes guided factory tour of our Victorian factory
  • 12.30pm  – “Afternoon tea” style lunch and time to shop in our best quality Gift Shop, Factory Shop and discover our secret garden.
  • 2.45pm – Decorating Studio session, lasting 1 hr & 45 mins, to create your own 1/2 pint mug masterpiece.
  • Plus 10% shopping discount on purchases from our Best Quality Gift shop (offer excludes Seconds and discontinued items, electronic goods, charity products, Collector’s Club membership and gift vouchers).

Finding Us

CAR: Put Pelham Street into your sat-nav for the best directions to our factory which is on the corner of Pelham St and Lichfield St. We have two free car parks.

Alternative public car parks are available at Hinde Street (follow City Centre parking signs), a 5 min walk from the factory. Please bring evidence of your car park ticket (a photo or receipt) and we will offer you a free hot or cold drink with our compliments.

TRAIN: We are just a few minutes by taxi from Stoke-on-Trent station, about 1 hour from Manchester and 1 1/2 hrs from London by train.

CANAL: We’re on the banks of the Cauldon Canal with several temporary moorings between Lichfield Street and Ivy House Lift Bridge nearby. Use the footbridge to cross to the factory car park.

Free parking on two car parks behind the factory on Pelham Street.

There is a disabled parking space on Lichfield Street outside the factory gates plus several more disabled parking spaces on the Pelham car park through the factory railings. Find these in the parking area between the factory buildings .

If you have to pay to park, take a picture of your ticket and show it to our cafe staff and receive a complimentary hot drink.
