Seconds Black Toast Sugar Shaker
There’s something pleasingly old-fashioned about a sugar shaker, such as our Black Toast Sugar Shaker. It suggests leisurely cups of tea, unhurried conversation and a generous assortment of sandwiches (crusts cut off) and dainty cakes.
A sugar dispenser is enormously practical too. No fiddly packets to tear open. None of the hard lumps that always seem to happen at the bottom of a sugar bowl. And no accidental clumps due to using a spoon that’s wet from stirring.
A pottery sugar shaker is a completely sensible thing to have in the kitchen: our one does just what it’s meant to do and even tells you what it’s meant to do.

What is a Second?
All our pottery is carefully inspected before it leaves the factory. An item is classified as a 'Second' if there is a slight fault in the finish, decoration or the shape. These faults are not structural and each piece will still function as intended. Most faults are marked with a black line which will be visible when your item arrives but washes off with a damp cloth.
