Our Blue Shells pattern was introduced over 25 years ago, with a border pattern of scallops and winkles. The design has moved on, with screw shells added too, and now features on a new addition to the range: a Blue Shells Medium Old Bowl. Every single shell on this serving bowl has been intricately sponged on by hand, reminiscent of the spirals and swirls of a shell-covered grotto as a fantastical work of art.
Use this blue and white pottery bowl as a fruit bowl, salad bowl or serving bowl – or fill it with beachcombed shells and create your own ode to the ocean.
What is a second? All pottery is inspected before it leaves the factory. When an item is classified as a second the fault or faults may be in the finish, the decoration or the shape. The faults are not structural (i.e. each piece still functions as intended and is useable). Faults are marked with a black line which will be visible when your product arrives but washes off with a damp cloth.
