A flat round plate, like our Lily Of The Valley Flat Serving Plate, is a serving plate that invites guests at the table to pitch in and help themselves, whether to slices of carpaccio or smoked salmon, or an assortment of cheeses in rounds and wedges.
Hand-decorated with sprays of lily of the valley around the rim and in the centre, this flat serving dish is also for puddings that are to be admired before being eaten: a pavlova piled high with summer berries or a generously sized classic tarte tatin.

What is a second?All pottery is inspected before it leaves the factory. When an item is classified as a second the fault or faults may be in the finish, the decoration or the shape. The faults are not structural (i.e. each piece still functions as intended and is useable). Faults are marked with a black line which will be visible when your product arrives but washes off with a damp cloth.
