Soup isn’t just for winter; it’s also delightfully refreshing in the summer. These Pink Carnation Soup Plates are just the thing for a pea and mint soup or a chilled cucumber, dill and yogurt soup (the soup colours will zing with the pink and green of each plate’s floral pattern).
Wash up the soup plates after your first course because … ta-dah – these double up as pudding plates. Again, the hand-sponged pink and green pattern will contrast beautifully with a berry-red summer pudding or a pavlova stacked with strawberries.
How’s that for efficient table planning, if not great tablescaping?
What is a second? All pottery is inspected before it leaves the factory. When an item is classified as a second the fault or faults may be in the finish, the decoration or the shape. The faults are not structural (i.e. each piece still functions as intended and is useable). Faults are marked with a black line which will be visible when your product arrives but washes off with a damp cloth.
