Seconds Poppies & Pinks Small Side Plate, 6.5 Inch
Invite a friend over for a very English afternoon tea and set the table with our Poppies & Pinks Small Side Plates, 6.5 Inch.
Our prettily hand-painted plates are just the sort of tea plate one might expect alongside a cake stand, each tier lined with a paper doily. The bottom tier should contain a row of smoked salmon sandwich fingers alongside some egg and cress ones (no crusts, of course). On the middle one, place warm scones and little bowls of strawberry jam and clotted cream, and crown the top tier with a few mini eclairs. Complete the scene with small silver cake forks beside each floral side plate and tea brewing in the matching Poppies & Pinks teapot.
Afternoon tea is served.
What is a second?All pottery is inspected before it leaves the factory. When an item is classified as a second the fault or faults may be in the finish, the decoration or the shape. The faults are not structural (i.e. each piece still functions as intended and is useable). Faults are marked with a black line which will be visible when your product arrives but washes off with a damp cloth.
