Behind The Design: Halloween

Because the notions of pointy hats and broomsticks, the fantastical children’s stories of weird and warty old women- these are all longstanding misdirection to distract attention away from the strength and wisdom within elder women!  

We like the stories, but please note that we’ve made sure our witch has some natty Chelsea boots! She’s one of us.  

For as women age we grow and we learn: we see the world at work and we form our own ideas about what it’s really all about.  

Our goals and ambitions are no longer particularly material, we understand what’s really worthwhile- we prize above all else health and happiness for our family and friends and a simpler life for ourselves. 

We know that full moon nights are deeply beautiful and significant, and that herbs and fungi hold many ways to improve our wellbeing; we know that meditation is thrilling and life-changing and that walking alone can release a dopamine high that does indeed feel much like flying.  

Oh yes, and we have no doubt that cats do indeed know the secrets!
