Horatio's Garden x Emma Bridgewater

As a long-standing partner of Horatio’s Garden, we have again worked together to design a collection of Emma Bridgewater pieces to celebrate the charity’s Best in Show garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and to support this worthwhile cause.

About Horatio’s Garden

Horatio’s Garden nurtures the wellbeing of people after spinal injury in beautiful, vibrant sanctuaries within the heart of NHS spinal injury centres. Leading designers create the accessible, gardens where the charity’s team, alongside volunteers and creatives, care for people and plants alike. The gardens are vital for reflection and adjustment for people facing life-changing injuries and long stays in hospital.

Horatio’s Garden at Chelsea

Horatio’s Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been designed as a place of sanctuary and hope, reflecting the special qualities of the charity’s gardens that nurture the wellbeing of people after spinal injury.  The garden provides an immersive, restorative haven in contrast to the clinical atmosphere of a hospital ward. Designed by Charlotte Harris and Hugo Bugg of Harris Bugg Studio the garden is an immersive, restorative sanctuary – the antithesis of a busy, clinical hospital environment. The garden is generously funded by Project Giving Back

The garden at Chelsea features many well considered aspects such as water feature to bring

sound and movement to the garden and encourage wildlife. In a nod to Horatio’s garden Yorkshire roots, stone from the area will be used to symbolise the journey of way finding when the path is unclear - referencing the journey through emotion after a devastating spinal injury.
