This year we are proud to announce our partnership with Shelter, a charity which helps people facing homelessness, on a special charity ½ pint mug.
The Shelter ½ pint mug is available now, both in-store and online here. We will donate £5 from the sale of each mug to Shelter.
Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through advice, support and legal services. Shelter carries out ground-breaking research to understand more about the UK’s housing problem and then develops policies that offer solutions.
The mug features our classic Black Toast writing and reads:
Give me Shelter from the storm. Everybody needs a place to call home.

"I am very pleased to be working with the venerable and admirable organisation Shelter as our charity partner this year. I have taken note of the directness of their communications, so we have decided upon a slogan in our classic Black Toast script with a focus on the heart of all of our lives: Home. It is surely universally agreed that we all need a home in order to live decent lives; tragically, the covid crisis has exposed the heart-breaking knowledge that far too many people, do not have a home.
Shelter do redoubtable work supporting and supporting homeless people and we are honoured to partner with them."
